IMAGINA SIXTH EDITION - PROGRAM SAMPLER

IAE-43 TEACHING WITH IMAGINA Course Planning The Imagina program was developed keeping in mind the need for flexibility and manageability in a wide variety of academic situations. The following sample course plans illustrate how Imagina can be used in courses on semester or quarter systems. You should, of course, feel free to organize your courses in the way that best suits your students’ needs and your instructional goals. Two-Semester System This chart shows how Imagina can be completed in a two-semester course. Please see the Table of Contents (p. IAE-6) for a breakdown of the material covered in each lesson. Semester 1 Semester 2 Lecciones 1–5 Lecciones 6–10 Quarter System This chart illustrates how Imagina can be used in the quarter system. If you wish to have more time for review at the end of the course, you may choose to teach four lessons in the first quarter instead. Keep in mind, however, that you will need to adjust testing materials accordingly with the Testing Program (available on the Supersite).
