No permission to return is required if the books have been purchased directly from Vista Higher Learning. A copy of the invoice must accompany the returned shipment, along with clear identification of the institution making the return. Returns are accepted only for titles that are saleable, unmarked, in new condition, and in the current edition. Editions that have been declared out-of-print for 90 days or more are ineligible for return. Books superseded by a new edition are not returnable after 120 days following publication date of the new edition unless prior extension was granted in writing. Please reference industry publications that routinely carry notices of expiring editions. Shrink-wrapped packages are non-returnable if shrink-wrap is broken unless an item within the package is found to be defective and Vista Higher Learning has been notified of the defect in advance of the return. No credit will be given for damaged items. Please call Customer Support at 800-269-6311 in the event you have received defective, damaged, or incorrect titles. These publications should be returned immediately. Returned units may not exceed the number of units originally billed. Custom products are not returnable. A 10% restocking fee will be charged to all standard returns. VHL is not responsible for return shipments lost in transit.
