In order to get the most out of that visual information, view the segment without any sound first. This will allow you to focus on what you see and use that information to anticipate and interpret what is being said. This exercise will also help you train yourself to pay attention to all those visual cues when watching Spanish- language TV or movies. Paso 1. In the video, you will hear about the foods served in two different restaurants. View the video once without sound and pay attention to the places, people, and food you see. Then, in small groups, share all the ideas and details you remember. You can also guess what some things may be! Paso 2. Before you watch the video again, look at the words in the Palabras útiles box. After watching the video, now with sound, say whether the following statements are true or false.
