Ex: ¿Quién está buscando información? (Marta y José Luis están buscando información.) ¿Qué información están buscando? (Están buscando información sobre San Juan.) 2 Teaching Tips • Use the Digital Image Bank to support the presentation of this activity. • Before starting the activity, ask students questions about each drawing to elicit a description of what they see. Ex: ¿Quién está en el dibujo número 5? (Samuel está en el dibujo.) ¿Dónde está Samuel? (Está en la playa.) ¿Qué más ven en el dibujo? (Vemos una tabla de surf y el mar.) 3 Teaching Tip To facilitate, first read through the names in column A as a class. Point out the profession clues in the Ayuda box, then guide students in matching each name with an infinitive. Finally, have students form sentences. 3 Expansion Have students choose five more celebrities and write what they are doing at this moment. Pairs Have students bring in photos from a vacation. Ask them to describe the photos to a partner. Students should explain what the weather is like, who is in the photo, and what they are doing. The partner should try to guess the location the student is describing. Students can ask additional questions until they guess correctly. Game Have the class form a circle. Appoint one student to be the starter, who will mime an action (Ex: eating) and say what he or she is doing (Ex: Estoy comiendo. ). The next student mimes the same action, says what that person is doing (____ está comiendo .), and then mimes and states a different action (Ex: sleeping/ Estoy durmiendo .). Have students continue until the chain breaks. Have students see how long the chain can get in three minutes.
