Leaders call out a verb and a subject (Ex: seguir/yo ), then toss a ball to someone in the group. That student says the appropriate present progressive form of the verb (Ex: estoy siguiendo ) and tosses the ball back. Leaders should use all the verbs on the list and be sure to toss the ball to each member of the group. Play charades In groups of four, have students take turns miming actions for the rest of the group to guess. Ex: Student pretends to read a newspaper. ( Estás leyendo el periódico. ) For incorrect guesses, the student should respond negatively. Ex: No, no estoy estudiando.
