Assessment Assessments in La cartilla allow you to monitor and record your students' progress as well as encourage student accountability in their own learning . Each assessment covers two consecutive lessons at a time, and can be used to test students individually or in small groups . A separate Placement Assessment is provided for Grades K and 1 . Assessment materials include: teacher scripts, student sheets, scoring guides, and rubrics, all of which are available to download and print in the Resources section of the instructor site .
